Dr. Stacey Arnold

Stacey Arnold currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Student Services for the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering. At the Luddy school, she oversees strategic initiatives and planning in the administration of undergraduate and master's admissions and student affairs including recruitment, admissions, academic advising, career services, retention, experiential learning opportunities and initiatives and recording/record keeping services for prospective and current students. Prior to her ADSS role, Stacey served as the Director of Recruitment (statewide) for the Indiana University School of Social Work. 

Stacey pursued her undergraduate studies at Indiana University Bloomington via the 21st Century Scholars program. She graduated with a BA in Psychology and Sociology (with Honors) and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management. She went on to obtain her Master of Arts Degree in Social Service Administration from The University of Chicago. Stacey attended U of C on a full ride scholarship via the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. She later obtained a Master of Arts degree in Adult Education. Stacey has served in several roles in the community including a mental health therapist, program coordinator for a domestic violence agency, as well as an instructor career services coordinator and, student success advisor. Stacey completed her doctoral degree (EdD) at the Indiana University School of Education with a concentration in Higher Education and Student affairs and a minor in global studies. Her research interests are related to higher education administration and policy, student success, enrollment/admissions/marketing, social policy, and international student populations.
